In yesterday's E, when the music stopped, they were showing £25320 accepted (£300 too much), £3580 rejected. 15 minutes later this had been adjusted to £25020 accepted, and £4280 rejected, £700 more. Bids had been pushed out. But the back of the queue hadn't moved - the last few winning bids and first few losing bids were the same. And the number of winning bids hadn't changed. This is high-class fiddling.

Perhaps one of the bidders tried to buy more than 20%?

Perhaps one of the bidder tried to buy more than 20%? I wondered if that might be the case, as two bidders had exactly £5,000, which might have been a finely tuned bot, but might have been FC reversing out excess bids.

One of the bids pushed out was one of mine.
But you're right of course - completing the exact £5000 with the 2nd last winning bid is "finely tuned" indeed
Anybody get a Bad Gateway? The bidding was fast enough and the processing doesn't seem any simpler.

Then processing SHOULD be simpler because there is no such thing as a 'knocked out bid' (which needs to be removed from the bidder's account transactions, returned to his balance etc) .. only 'never actually got accepted' bids, although Funny Circumstances seems to have contrived to make those look as much like good old 'knocked out' as they possibly could.
I was assuming B*****a and E***n et al had tuned their bots to stop at 20%, but if they were still bidding when the music stopped maybe not (it's still possible - as long as there were no 'knocked out after the music stopped' bids from them .. I couldn't actually see any). Maybe FC will adjust either the limit, or the rate at which it can be filled, since they have so far failed to produce this backlog of Es we were promised (or maybe that was them as came through last week, relabelled as A+?).

Yes, it must be difficult to find borrowers weak enough to be an E but not in danger of imminent failure. If they can find a pulse it is at least a C.
