Was able to change my pre-funding during the confusion and got a bigger slice lol Oh, sneaky, quick thinking but sneaky. Managed to grab the extra bit I wanted when excess appeared

I don't see the option for offsetting BACS deficit against Available funds anymore. Is it just me or have they removed it?

Think the issue was down to an Investor who had noticed that his PF level had been changed to 20Kand changed it back in the point between SS setting them all down to 20K and actually pressing the button on the loan. Hence one Investor got a rather large chunk of this. savingstream have reversed this so that everyone got their fair share. This wasn't me, although I (think) did up the pre-funding within the 20k limit

Before P2P, savers put a guinea in a piggy bank, now they smash the banks to become guinea pigs.

Apparently, it was sold via a receiver not the borrower. Funny, because there has never been any mention of a receiver being appointed.... savingstream - care to comment...

So it would appear that "The borrower has put the property into auction with our encouragement" is SS code for 'this loan is not in default but we have appointed receivers to recover it'. I wonder how many more loans have receivers appointed that we never hear about. Still, as ianj said - 'Some early Christmas cheer' for the lenders, if not for the borrower.

Maybe SS got confused it was PBLs 62&63 that had receivers appointed not 66&67

I think some praise should be offered to savingstream for managing this to a successful conclusion. While it was never flagged as a default and the circumstances appear somewhat bizarre with non-appointed recievers selling the property nevertheless I think we can chalk this one up as another succesful recovery. Here's hoping for a few more of the problematic ones to follow suit
