Just thinking about my last post. I've not had any loans defaulted/downgraded in a while (got two looking close to it though, including the "Crappy Scrappy"). Maybe recent defaults are not being picked up by the summary total now. Have you guys had any new defaults over the last few weeks? I remember seeing mention of some, but can't remember specifically who was hit on here...

I remember seeing mention of some, but can't remember specifically who was hit on here... Yes Jimbo. There was quite a cluster came out about two weeks back. Most had been drifting for quite awhile but waiting to be defaulted. I had one in that bunch but had already written off any chance of recovery. You and I are both in the same boat with the Crappy Scrappy and I have pretty much written that one off as well. However there may well be hidden assets to be got at there. Some years back I rented out a bit of dead land to a scrap dealer who just wanted somewhere to park a large number (1000+) lorry and other heavy commercial back axles. He told me at the time that this was his hidden bank account and pension! He always paid his rent (cash of course) and had the place for about five years.

Ah, over in t'other place Becky has explained/admitted that net return calculations were turned off to help with the website overload, That probably explains why my numbers were wrong, and why they just jumped in an unexpected direction.It does look reasonably sane again now .. though roofco 75% recovery seems stuck in some system problem...
