I am an FC deserter that opened and funded an account more than two weeks ago. I cannot avoid expressing a bit of disappointment at this point. I am about to withdraw my funds unless there is any indication of when AR will jump-start the deal flow. It's business, not personal.

ABLrate is a very different site to FC, with a very different dealflow. Unless you're hovering over the secondary market on the lookout for parts at par there's no point transferring money in until there's notification of a new loan.

I am about to withdraw my funds unless there is any indication of when AR will jump-start the deal flow. It's business, not personal. UK debit card payments will arrive within a few seconds usually and using them a little time before you want to invest is the best way to go if available to you. Withdrawing can be from same day to a couple of days to UK bank accounts. As with the other platforms that are relatively young new deals are not always present and you may sometimes need to wait a week or two between deals, perhaps longer sometimes. The long term interest rate difference between the newer places and FC makes this worthwhile. There are often useful deals on the secondary market that might be of interest, though not always. A few loans with offers at 100%/par at the moment, though you might want to wait to see the deals mentioned by ablrate are.

If you know it is tomorrow then fine. If not then please do not be specific. As Annie said: 'The sun'll come out tomorrow Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow There'll be sun ... Tomorrow tomorrow, I love you tomorrow, Your'e always a day away'. Of course, if it comes in the next 3h 45m then I apologise in advance.

... We are working on an aircraft loan for imminent launch and some capital equipment loans, hopefully will give you more news on those tomorrow.... Please stop doing this, Andy. If you know it is tomorrow then fine. If not then please do not be specific. It is annoying and undermines confidence. As Annie said, 'Tomorrow tomorrow, I love you tomorrow, ... Your'e always a day away'. ... Of course, if it comes in the next 3h 45m then I apologise in advance. Wrong person. ablrateandy is Andy, ablrate is the boss who in this case did have that useful word "hopefully" in the message, allowing room for slippage. I agree, though, it's better to wait a bit and just say "we're working on some things, more later once the usual contractual and other details have been sorted out". Andy has been bitten enough that he's effectively stopped doing this. Part of the problem is that it's good to know that deals are being worked on but the timing has to be expressed with great care because different customers have different tolerances for how much precision they expect. It doesn't bother me because I know a deal in progress might not work out, like the 3 to 8 million Pound MoneyThing property loan. The caveats "working on" and "hopefuly" worked for me but what would it take, if anything, for ablrate to be able to tell you that without you expecting certainty that it would be "tomorrow"? Would "sometime in the next week or two, maybe as early as tomorrow" work for you? If not, what form of words could they use to do the job of letting people know without raising false hopes for other people?

Sorry, I've put out the fire on my ears now. Said loan was agreed in principle with the borrower first thing this morning but he is a bit geographically challenged at the moment (located in Brisbane) so the last bit of information required had to be requested overnight. We will update tomorrow morning on the status of it, but it looks promising - to the extent that I have the loan document prepared

You just need to learn how to stay awake 24/7 ... Is this their normal location? Interesting/good to see relatively far-flung deals being done. Nice extra diversification.

Ideally on an Ablrate funded mode of transport.... Even if that is a container!

The problem I had with ABLrate before was the constant making of timed promises which were not delivered, and did not wish to get into that again. 'Hopefully ... tomorrow' means tomorrow with a very small chance of it not happening. Else it should be 'Hopefully .. in the next few days' or weeks or months accordingly. If 'tomorrow' and I am interested I check back tomorrow and if it is not there I think 'typical ALBrate', never deliver - and I do not want to keep thinking that. Now I am expecting an update tomorrow morning.

Naughty step for me again Blender..... sorry.
Never again will I put a time on anything..... as my wife says when I ask when dinner will be ready.... 'when it's ready', is the standard response. I shall take a leaf out of her book. Regards Ablrate
