If it says you have £100 and you know you really have £200, it still allows the transfer of £200 to be made.

Well both the transfer page, and the loan parts (buy) page seem to be using an out-of-date cached version of your total balance, as opposed to the version that the other pages are picking up. As to why that is, I guess those pages have not had the javascript/iframes/JSON makeover that afflicted the other pages. As to why THAT is .. well now we are into metaphysics. 8>. Does that mean you could bid on the PM and then use the same balance to buy parts on the SM? Clearly it wouldn't benefit you as they'd unwind it all in due course...

I was wondering how 16870 came to have a 1st repayment due 1st Dec, considering today is 1st Nov.
Evidently it was launched at 16:21 on Thursday and filled up by a quick squirt from Autobid starting bang on time at 16:21 Saturday. Then the Government chunk was added at 00:49 this morning and the loan went out.

No SM purchases (from me, at least) last night, so either repayments broke, or the money was all pointed at the PM auctions.

No SM purchases (from me, at least) last night, so either repayments broke, or the money was all pointed at the PM auctions. I sold two at par overnight (property), and three more this morning. Yesterday overall was a very poor sales day - certainly well down on the exceptionally high levels of a few days ago. I guess the 100% rule on Autobid is having a big effect, but perhaps things will settle back down again to normal soon (I hope!).

I sold 7 mediocre oldish Cs yesterday after putting them up about 5pm, then another three sold today. All below new fixed rate.
edit. Ah! All at +0.3%, so it wasn't autograb.

Yesterday was the first day for a long time that I bought more than I sold and today only two sales which is unusual because recently the weekends are good selling days with no new Auctions. So I guess not being restricted to 60% suggests Autobodge is cleaning up the residuals on the remaining Auctions or the loan parts I have for sale are not very attractive !

Autobodge doesn't care how attractive they are, just so long as they are at par or a discount. 8>. Well, OK, they have to be above what someone has set for their minimum, but that is rarely a problem if you bought them with your brain turned on.

Sorry I am a little confused are you saying Autobodge can't buy loan parts at a premium ? But all E loan parts are listed at premiums !

E parts listed at par or at a premium of 0.3% or less are snapped up by bots or manual buyers so fast that it looks like such parts are never on the SM.
EDIT: 15399E currently has lots of parts at 0.2-0.3% premium and selling slowly. But this is only because the second repayment date is less than 48 hours away so some lenders want to dump them fast. It was also a larger E loan, £104k, so the volume on sale is greater.

So what you are saying any investor that is only using Autobodge has probably never been able to buy any E loan parts (other than in auctions if they are quick enough, or 16779) as they only trade at premiums (with the very occasional exception)?

That's probably correct. If Autobumble just happens to be running when an E is launched, then it might a place a bid or two on it. But Autobumble seems to have a batched life ie it is often not running.

Have graphed my sales for October. Attachment DeletedPar sales (blue) are almost all property. Premium sales (red) are 60 month loans that have 48 months left (except for a handful of 10% A+ property loans sold at small markup). Definitely been more manual buyers looking for better rates than available on the PM.

Every single open loan request is currently sitting at 87% (except for a single one at 93%)...
