I am unable to use the spreadsheet - when I try to input I get a message to say that "This object is protected and cannot be edited". Perhaps this is because it is an Abirate spreadsheet.

tony That's probably because you are inputting on the wrong sheet. Go into the Funding Empire sheet and overtype the data that I put on there (ie. cell A2, B2, C2, D2, E2, F2, G2, H2, I2, J2). The Information Dashboard is protected so that you don't overtype the formulae.

You have lost me! Taking the spreadsheet that I sent you, could you provide me with the formula's for use in the columns "Monthly repayment of capital" and "monthly payment of interest"? The values that are shown at present are rubbish - I was trying to come up with a formula but now I can see that it was yet another "senior moment" (they come thick and fast nowadays)
Later - just noticed sheet 2 which makes your message clear. I will play with it and let you know how I get on. Thanks for your patience.
Nov 12: Thanks - As far as the interest and capital due is concerned it seems to work.
