I had a look at the loans currently available. I saw that s**r is present in most of these. In itself is not a problem. What I see as a problem is the number of loans with negative balances showing multiple parts going to s**r.
May I please ask SS to intervene and reverse these excesses. I do not know how much damage this is causing to SS. Someone on another thread mentioned that it probably adds to about a fiver a day. Definitely this is robbing all the other lenders from a free market.
The loans worst effected by this are PBL017 PBL018 PBL020 PBL039 PBL051
To a lesser extent the following are also effected Superyacht PBL019 PBL038 PBL047
I would appreciate a reply from SS about their policy about this matter.

Interestingly on PBL017 s....r has invested exactly £483.79 4 times in one day, why the exact same amount. On PBL 020 its exactly £494.91 for 3 investments - computer glitch?

So in answer to your question those figures would probably been the amount for sale in each of those loans before S***R entered his multiple bids

I must be missing something here, if a certain amount is available why enter multiple bids for that amount? what's the advantage?

I think that this latest buying spree by S**R is related to the new database locking and website. They want to feast while they can.

Is this someone with a bot and SS are allowing it, causing there to be nothing at all (that I have seen) on the SM for many many days? There always used to be odds'n'ends popping up which I could buy with various repayments as they came in.

Is this someone with a bot and SS are allowing it, Perhaps we all need to set up bots and let them fight it out, hopefully we'll all get a turn at winning

The T&C should contain an explicit ban on using bots. If SS are not careful they will end up like many poker sites which are swamped by bots.

I suspect you can replicate the silurian_vader by opening 3 browser windows. Pick a loan you already own that is at 0%. Sell units in one window and immediately buy in the other 2 windows simultaneously.

s***r is effectively buying future loan parts on the SM... I took a look at the T&C to see if this situation would be covered. There's no general "abuse of our system" part but this is the closest I could find. Still doesn't really cover it 100% IMHO though. 14 - Terminating your membership of Saving Stream 2. We may end your membership of Saving Stream at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to if: 16. you use the Saving Stream platform in any of the following ways: 1. in any way that causes, or is likely to cause, the platform or access to it to be interrupted or damaged in any way;and 4. to cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety; If there is no response from savingstream on this issue, I'll have to contact them directly and ask if we should all start coding. I think that point 4 quoted here is all we need. As far as I am concerned this is annoying, inconvenient and causes needless anxiety. I do not mind automating certain processes but this has gone too far.

Sell units in one window and immediately buy in the other 2 windows simultaneously. That was my plan I think this is how this offender operates: Choose time when nobody is around. Difficult this days but possible, as one needs only few seconds. Sell part in your loan, immediately open few browser windows to buy part, and once the windows is open, sky (the amount of the part) is the limit and can be purchased. On the other hand this action prevents everybody else from doing it as once loan balance turns negative, if anyone else sells it will just decrease deficit, not allow to repeat the above. I agree this behaviour is abusing the platform and savingstream should have a word with the person and if situation is not resolved - ban the user and sell all his loan parts. They will go in seconds so no risk there.
