This morning I can't get the "insert user link" option to work, when I type a name in the box it says unable to contact server

This morning I can't get the "insert user link" option to work, when I type a name in the box it says unable to contact server It can play up from time to time, but it seems to be working okay now. You can also just type it yourself if you can remember the correct spelling, you don't have to use that if you don't want. You probably knew that already...
