I found the pledge button, entered 2000 and pressed save. Screens flashed encouragingly. But how do I know I have pledged? Available funds had not reduced. Can I pledge and pledge again?

How do we know if pledges were correctly received and registered? There is no mention of this in the dashboard or in the loan page. Will the system send a confirmation email? Yes, I'm worried that I may have pledged twice as I thought nothing happened the first time I pledged and didn't see any mention on the dashboard, no email received etc.?

Agreed, there is no feedback to a pledge, but I'm not worried anymore now that I know it's not just me. Nice that we can see how oversubscribed it is (currently about 110%) in the underwriting bar.

Same issue - nothing came back so I wondered if maybe I had a rounding error and tried again for 1p less...

Thanks Blender The pledge was designed for underwriters to be able to pledge and then send money when executed so it doesn't check balances, however, we can see the available balances next to the pledged amount... so we can see who is being naughty on this one! It is, however, a very good point going forward if we are going to use this feature more, because there needs to be a record of the pledged amount... we will add that to the list. Thanks for your feedback. Regards Ablrate

Whoops yes.
So it is 13% (new version going up now)
Pledges
Irritatingly are not showing up in your account but ARE visible to me. I am very sorry about this - the problems of a quick implementation. So, if you want one checking you can email me and I will check. This will be fixed before the next deal and apologies for the inconvenience. As it is a "pledge", no funds are being taken out of your account at the moment but it will have to be fully funded by 11am tomorrow. At that point, I will go through and allocation will be based upon the lowest of how much you have pledged and your available funds. Pledging £1mio with only £2.50 on account will lead to a pro rata based upon £2.50.
My email is andy.sweeney@ablrate.com .
I will send an email around now.

Apologies for people emailing and getting very brief responses.... as you can imagine I am getting rather a lot of traffic and my typing fingers are an inch shorter than they were at 9am....

Missed all this furore(?).
Been on the site pledging ALL sorts ... as NOTHING seemed to be happening!
Looks like it's now underwritten 2000% or something like.
Am I IN or not?? No way of being able to tell ....

Yuk! Up to 214% underwritten (pledged?) already PS If I pledge some more, will the two pledges be cumulative, or does the second pledge cancel out the first?

Andy, You may have a problem with investors who pushed the button multiple times and therefore might get more than they bargained for , if the money is available in their accounts. I wonder how much of the oversubscription is due to that. Not sure how you might handle that ?

If people (a) clicked multiple times and (b) had funds to cover it then they will receive their pro rata unless they tell me otherwise. If that happens and they didn't want it all, I will happily buy the loans back and re-offer them at 100.00% the same day.
Everyone will receive an email saying how much they are receiving.
