I noticed on this Loan now that it's on AM that it had atleast two large bids one accepted (£133,940) and one not (£167,860). Anyone know why certain bids are rejected like this? I don't think it's just size as wasn't there a bid of 350K on Nottingham accepted?

I don't think it's just size as wasn't there a bid of 350K on Nottingham accepted? The larger bid came first, and was the underwriter(s) filling the loan based on the funds needed at the time. The auction then progressed, more bids were received, and less underwriting was needed. When the auction closed, the original underwriter bid was 'rejected' and a new underwriter bid placed for the final amount needed to fill the loan. (You'll note that the latter bid was placed a week after the auction ended.)

First interest payment (due 14/4/14) received today.
But still waiting for 2nd "cashback" payment for extending drawdown date from 7th to 14th March (see unanswered question dated 21 March in loan Q&A).

jonno, yes first payment received on 10th March was (as I understand it) for extending drawdown date from 28th February to 7th March

Considering the lengthy drawdown period -3 months-, and only 9 months of real loan (compared to an expectation of 5 years), this loan didn't prove very profitable -roughly 7.5pc-. But better than nothing !
