Now things have quietened down a bit I guess it's time to say hello and tell you a bit about myself. During the day I work as an IT Manager. After hours I prefer to get back into the technical side of things as you can see from my website! I'm also a moderator on Zopa's forums. I have/had accounts on the FC official and independent forums but never really got into posting on either. I've just become a Level 3 Area Manager on Waze. Finance-wise I've been in Zopa since mid 2006. I've also got some of my hard earned in Funding Circle, Funding Secure, ThinCats and RateSetter. Hello!  |

Thanks for picking up the ball from AH so quickly, getting the furniture from our last home unpacked, and working on ensuring it was all laid out to maximize our future Feng Shui.

It really is very impressive that by Saturday afternoon, just 72 hours after we learnt the old forum had closed, we had a new forum with a sensible board layout, draft rules, 60 members, and threads active on at least seven different P2x platforms. To be approaching a critical mass of members after such a short space of time is quite remarkable A huge vote of thanks go to Andrew and elljay for the effort to get us to this point (ably assisted by us trainee moderators I should add  ) and a special thanks for the active participation of everyone on the fledgling boards. My alias will be well known to many of you as I have been an active P2P/P2B investor for many years, and a contributor on various P2P forum, but have never previously volunteered to help moderate a forum, so this is new to me. The day job (Manufacturing Consultancy) is really about applying common sense to business issues ... which given I'm not an accountant is exactly how I approach P2P loan due-diligence. |
