Any fellow members planning to go to above event? I'd love to go & will keep trying to but, feel prior commitments might prevent me from doing so. Any plans from AC to provide some form of live web-link for those who cannot make it for what should be a very informative & educational event?  |

I'd much appreciate it if someone from AC could confirm or deny that there will be an Internet link as I don't want to miss out entirely on the days proceedings, but attending the event would entail me putting off an important client that evening.

I'm exploring whether or not we can include a live video link - we'd need to buy or rent some equipment and hope that the internet or mobile connection at the venue is fast enough to support it. If I can beat some money out of the right people then we could employ some experts to do this for us but I don't think this was intended to be a big enough event for that. If the internet connection at the venue isn't good enough then it would get very expensive to provide a live feed.
All things considered I think it's more likely we'll record the event and release videos later, if we're able to do more than that then consider it a bonus.

Booked to come to the show. Never mind the cost of a 1st Class return rail fare from West Wales and a hotel room in London for one night. Told a daughter she will have to find a stand in for me to give her away at her wedding, asked the best man to do my speech at the reception. Wife has suspended my conjugal rights for the rest of this year and am now sleeping with the dog. So I hope it is all going to all be worth it!

merlin - All that just to hear me talk? You must be mad! I’m not being rude or criticising you or anyone else personally Andrew, however, whilst it’s very nice to be chatting about the AC Lender day, the P2PFA gathering and so on, these are essentially talking shops.
What about some effective action and results on drawdowns specifically R******h C********l P******y which as someone has already said, is getting to the stage of taking the p*ss and Ki***r*****er B***g**g L**n?

merlin - All that just to hear me talk? You must be mad! You could well be right, as many of my friends keep telling me I must be to get involved in P2P! However I have several ulterior motives. First this will be my daughters third wedding and I am b*ggered if I am going to contribute financially to this one. In fact I have opened a book within the family over how long this one will last. It is also a great opportunity to escape to spend a convivial evening with some friends at the RAF Club without she who must be obeyed cramping the style. As for conjugal rights at 75 years of age they tend now to just be happy memories from the past. However I am still expecting a dazzling performance from you good self and a good lunch to set me up for my journey back to the Welsh bogs.

This event would be easy to video and upload the relevant parts to somewhere like you tube. Or why not use capacity on the AC server(s).
