Quite apart from anything else, most (if not all) gambling sites are based offshore for tax and legal purposes.
For the record, I have also argued in other forums that such sites should be routinely blocked by UK ISPs for regulatory and tax reasons.

sunspot If you're a wind up merchant, then well played. If not, I hate to break it to you, but no one is taking your point seriously because it is daft.

Locutus (of Borg?),
You may be unconcerned by legal requirements, that's fine. However, anyone who runs a business MUST COMPLY with the law. It's not an optional thing.
In my opinion (but I could be wrong) the SS website falls outside the law for the reasons I have given. If you disagree, that's fine, but given that SS are known to lurk in this forum, they no longer have the excuse of ignorance!

Apparently there has been a freak accident. Whilst reading this thread, SS have choked on their biscuit and spilt hot tea somewhere painful so any responses to this topic may be delayed.

The whole graphical interface (ie the windows concept) disadvantages the blind for instance, while a mouse disadvantages those with athritis,

Be a big campaign if you want to stop all sites that have similar good luck on that one

Oh dear... It's not the captcha that's discriminatory, but the entire process of buying on the secondary market! When SS began trading, with a slow market, there would not have been a problem. However, times have changed and SS has not changed with them. The entire secondary market is unfit for purpose from the buyers perspective. It works fine from the sellers' point of view, but so would queued prefunding (or any other prefunding model). It's also fair to say that the "Rise of the Machines" was entirely predictable, and it shows extremely poor judgement on the part of SS management that they were so far behind the curve on this issue. Well, let's be fair here. SS has at least responded somehow to the request of limiting bots. FC has not even acknowledged their presence (or that they don't care of them) after 2-3 years of them scoring within the primary and secondary market...

I'm now concerned that my copy of Angry Birds discriminates against the disabled ... which makes me angry.
