At least they have paid up and investors are not saddled with the loan parts.

When it comes to categorising loans to retailers, shops peddling bicycles definitely occupy the bottom bracket.

Not sure I can cope with this relentless cycle of tyred puns! They all see themselves as financial pundits.

Look folks, can we please stop recycling all this nonsense, and get back to the original point. This borrower may be trying to take lenders for a ride.

What can we learn from the likelihood that with all the borrowing the business was too highly geared before it started going downhill?

My financial adviser William has been round to give me advice about these bike shop loans. He wants to go home now. Stay Bill, I sez. He came here on the underground, its too late to go back inner tube.
He disagreed, got Raleigh angry.

At the risk of encouraging the recycling of tired old puns, I can't help but feel slightly annoyed that the receivers are apparently happy to collect their own debt to recover costs, but are not willing to collect some more repayments out of this guy's wages to pay us lenders back. It is such a small amout too. Is this how it works then? Rip-off!
