yes I have done that previously brought on the SM for my interst to reset the balance Loads of coppers going at the moment. Why do people sell 27p of a loan?
They don't. Investors sell loan parts that have pennies (largely due to the interest), but Investors that are buying the same loan parts are more likely to invest in whole numbers... For example 1. Investor 1, wants to get rid of PBL000 because it is part of his DD plan. He has a single loan part that amounts to £101.21 and sells it. 2. Investor 2, is looking to diversify, sees PBL000 pop up and types in "£100.00", as it is neater, easier and quicker (important with FFF being a factor). 3. SM is left with £1.21 sitting about that nobody wants

It could also be investors setting up and testing their macros. However, they would usually only be selling and buying 1p to deter other investors from hoovering it up while testing.

It is unusual....
SS even paid out interest on New Years Day.
If they don't pay until Tuesday, it's not a massive disappointment (or surprising being a bank holiday), but precedent has been set; it would be one of those, "we should have had prior notice" moments.

My guess is about 3PM today. It doesn't usually come through on the morning of a bank holiday/weekend but is usually in by mid afternoon. We do seem to be doing a lot of guessing these days with communication being very poor recently.

Well I have already invested this months interest before the big rush so If they dont pay will have a negative balance for a couple of days
