There is a risk that EIS status won't be given, or that it is given and taken away and you won't be able to claim. I think that this risk is real. Why do you say that ? The "EIS" label is there for all to see on the Seedrs website. Why do you think it could it be withdrawn? As ilmoro says you can't be sure that you will get it until the shares are actually issued. i)As your shares won't be issued for as long as possibly 10 months there is a chance that rules change. Think election, new PM, EU (EIS falls under state aid),.... ii)Many are surprised that the Seedrs convertible structure works, HMRC might decide to challenge it, iii)Some are surprise that AC is eligible for EIS due to the nature of its business. And even if eligible when issued, there is a chance that AC will do something to lose that during the 3 year period that you need to hold (from share issue not from convertible investment) such as change business strategy or be taken over, or possibly take someone else over. This is 4 years of likely big change. I don't know of anything, I'm not saying that I think that the chance is high, merely that you should consider it.

Anyone invested in? Does it worth it? I've just put in £500.
This Friday, the 4th 5th, is the last day before the raise closes
