It may have changed, but the last time I checked on SIPPClub fees, they were £1250 p.a. (I can't remember whether VAT was on top of that). So it wouldn't have been suitable for relatively small accounts.

In order to join their "club", you need an annual salary of at least £100k.

Hi Anyone who opened these SIPPs, do SS and AB allow you to transfer loans from a personal account directly into your SIPP or do you have to put the loans on the SM through your personal account and buy in the SIPP to transfer? ablrate @ ablrateandy savingstream

The sip requirements are very hefty and details are on the sip club site. looks to me like something to do with "sophisticated" investors status which gets round lots of (unnecesary for these type of investors) consumer protection type stuff.

I don't think you can transfer loans off-market from your personal account to your SIPP. I don't think you are permitted under the tax regulations to transfer assets into a SIPP off-market as people could otherwise sell loan parts to create a capital loss outside the SIPP (whilst the corresponding gain is sheltered in the SIPP). However, it is very easy just to transfer the loans on-market on both platforms and as there are no selling fees there is no leakage of value.

Everything that appears on the SS SM seems to disappear instantly. Most of the time, someone has snapped up whatever's on offer before I can even get the loan's page open!

It's been discussed at length on other threads, but effectively you 1) put on sale a small piece, 2) tee-up the recaptcha on the buy page, 3) place the main part of the loan for sale and purchase - you can beat everybody to the purchase as you have tee'd up the recaptcha and only you know exactly when the piece is going on sale - refer to this thread: p2pindependentforum.com/post/114806/thread

Probably safest to do it at 3AM, when you can expect most folks to not be looking too hard. It would be nice if there was a more official mechanism, but I expect that's priority Z. There was some suggestion that SS might be about to swap recaptcha for something saner, so this might stop working anyway. ** I have only messed it up twice so far, through 'fumbling the catch'.

I just spend an hour trying to find the fees for www.sippclub.com/evolution-sipp-ssas/ on their website. All I could find is an info from last year on www.4thway.co.uk/candid-opinion/p2p-pension-evolution-sipp/ saying that it's 1250 + VAT = 1500. Does someone know the current fees ? (Preferably a link to the sippclub website) Once setup can you buy/sell loans via Lendy's website just like usual lenders? I vaguely remember that last year you had to call sippclub and they then had to buy a loan for you - but I might be wrong. This would not be very practical considering that some loans often disappear on the secondary market very fast. I believe sippclub is still the only pension provider for Lendy? Thank you.
