Something very strange is going on! In preparing for my tax return I have been pulling out all my stage 2 defaults (Recovery). This morning I checked my records against the individual loan front screen and then this afternoon I started cutting and pasting the individual loans to show amounts outstanding. I've then opened the loan to pdf the last payment date. Within the last hour every stage 2 loan that I checked this morning has suddenly become stage 1 ..... so back to some of the loans I cut n pasted earlier and they are now showing stage 1 Open the individual loan and they are all showing 'Collection' with a 'Time of Last Update' of at least 32 days ago! Looks like you can't trust the individual loan front screen! EDIT even more bizarre, some loans that were showing 2 this morning are no longer showing a number but like the ones I mentioned above these are showing 'Collection' and newer 'Time of Last Update'.

The fact that Bondora couldn't get drunk in a brewery comes as no surprise, just be grateful they haven't taken some of your money & given it to a DCA in the hope that they can clean up the mess (or hang on a minute they already have )

You should ask Bondora to provide the correct statuses and actual outstanding principal amount for each loan. Otherwise you'll be giving your tax authority incorrect figures (and maybe even commit tax fraud? ). The only way to know today, what's actually left, is if Bondora tells you, because the amounts you have paid to DCAs already, are not shown anywhere.

Yes I fired off an Email asking what is going on as a first step. I also downloaded a .csv for Stage 2 loans and I'm going to do the same today and compare the two just to get some hard data of what has exactly changed (too time consuming to open +400 individual loans again). I accept things can change but not to the extent that I saw yesterday. For my tax purposes I'm preserving everything so I have proof that I was working with the best available information!

But I have noticed another issue today! Downloading an account statement from 'expert centre' produces the statement as normal ...... but the counterparty column contains my identifier all the way down, not the identifier of the borrower! Raising another issue ...... This is happening again! Raised another issue!

Well the issue is cleared today although the statements include a new field (the loan number) so that bu..ers up spreadsheets if you just drop the report in. Not a major problem since you can just delete the column with a couple of clicks.

To work around that sort of issue what I tend to do is have a sheet in the middle that loads the data from the platform. Then the main calculations load from that sheet in the middle. If the platform changes things all I need to do is adjust the sheet in the middle to get the data to the way I way expecting it to be. We can't expect platforms not to change things so we pretty much have to do things in a way that lets them do that while making it as easy as possible for us to adapt as it happens.

I do exactly the same. Some enhancements (for example MT recently) are very welcome and help to keep spreadsheet size/complexity down.

I cannot access any of my own data, but can access the full datasets, e.g. LoanData.
