Do you or anyone else know how to change your email address on the SS platform? Given its you user Id on the site, I expect you need to contact SS. Its possibly been covered somewhere before but search isnt behaving itself for me at the moment

I have added some more FAQ covering deposit/withdrawal timescales, pipeline launch timescales and retained interest plus updated a few others. Comments, suggestions & pedantry welcome (there will be a number of spelling issues as I have mental blocks with certain words - no prizes for spotting which )

Another question if you don't mind please On the pipeline section there's 1 DFL and the others are all PBLs. The DFL states 0 days left whereas the PBL all have considerable numbers of days left. Why does the DFL show 0 days? It's currently showing as going through the legals. Not sure how long this loan is for when it launches - I've read the valuation doc and can't see it in there though apologies if I've missed it. Also, I note in the FAQ it says that SS tell us what stage the loan is at and that it could move through stages quickly. I'm not sure where to find that information either - is it related to the 0 days or am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

I think it just means they haven't entered the length for the DFL yet - or that it hasn't been fully agreed yet - would take anything like that as a pinch of salt until a loan is live anyway.
Nothing to do with the stage tho, which can skip a few if loans move really quickly

The "stage" is the number to the right of each loan in the Pipeline loans list, which is supposed to indicate roughly where a loan is the the preparation process. But no-one puts much store by it and these days SS sends everyone an email the day before a new loan launches, by which time all the loan information should have been added, so there is plenty of time then to adjust your pre-funding target accordingly.

I have listed a part for sale on the SM. Why then is the amount available as shown LESS than my part ? As an example if there's £100 availalbe on the SM and I put £200 up for sale surely the amount available should now show £300. Isn't the SM updated in real time ?

Look at the "Selling parts" tab of "My loans" - you'll probably find it's (at least) 50% sold, if it was a £200 part and there's only £100 on the market now. You don't see the money until it's 100% sold.

Yes,I've now noticed it's 99.8% sold. There was a few pence for sale (can't remember how much exactly) when I put up my £200.At no point did the sum available go up by £200...I checked a few times over the next few minutes. There's now 35p available. Will someone please buy that 35p so my sale goes through lol Update, bought the 35p myself and now my part has sold

At no point did the sum available go up by £200... It did - you just weren't quick enough to see it. Somebody may have had the loan page open and captcha-verified. They saw the amount change, hit buy £100, and the £200.35 went down to £100.35. Somebody else then bought £100, and it was down to £0.35 - which nobody wanted.

Remember £100.35 probably displays as £100 anyway (rounded once it goes over £100 iirc), so someone bought what they thought was all of it, but it wasn't. Be nice if SS rounded UP!!

Be nice if SS rounded UP!! Not if you had to spit out the pennies you'd just inadvertently purchased. Anyway, if it's not a race for the lot I can't really see people buying £101 rather than £100 either. In the slightly less frantic market that we currently have I just break £10 off the end of whatever I'm selling so only a small amount might get stuck.
