Could we add the 'FFFF' to the list of abbreviations? I have no idea what this means 🖒🖖 ! I've just been reading it as 'F**k,F**k,F**k,F**k' in the hope eventually I would twig onto what it meant through context. As that hasn't worked so far I thought I would bite the bullet and ask! I think you mean FFF, and it means exactly what you think...... Or alternatively 'fastest finger first'. It's that frustrating experience on the SM where FFF wins (and some have faster fingers than others...) Haha, that makes perfect sense. Guess I wasn't too far off then...Thanks Dude.

Hi. Could someone please set me straight on "bottom-up" funding of new loans? If the smaller requests are fulfilled first, then does this mean that if I make too large a pre-funding request, then I risk getting nothing? Is an intermediate-sized request best to assure the maximum-possible allocation, or should I just ask for the amount that I want? No, you'll just get the same maximum that others get.

Bottoms up simply means that there is a max allocation (determined simply by the amount of investors). If you ask for less than that allocation you will get exsacly what you want, but if you ask for more you will only get the allocation. If the max allocation is £1500 and you ask for £1000 you will get £1000. If the max allocation is £1500 and you ask for £10,000 you will get £1500. You are not penalised for asking for more Also, it's worth noting that all loans are now "bottoms up"

Suppose I better rewrite the answer to that Q in the FAQ as seems to be a permanent change
Ive changed the thread title back - enough polishing CDs ego I think.
However, I appear to be short of a space for an S - mods/admin can the number of characters be increased on thread titles, seems a very big box for only a little bit of text?

You've also managed to unpin your thread No idea how, seem to have unexpected powers. (Looks suspiciously at fancy German beer) Somebody seems to have banged the nail back in again.

SS have never actually announced that all loans are now bottom up, but all recent loans have been bottom up regardless of the amount (as indicated in their go-live e-mails). As such, I'm assuming that this is their preferred method now (despite the possible discontent from the BHs)

However, I appear to be short of a space for an S - mods/admin can the number of characters be increased on thread titles, seems a very big box for only a little bit of text? You could just re-phrase slightly in this case - something like "first post provides answers to many questions" or even more succinctly "first post answers many common questions". (Just need to think like the Twitterati )

(Just need to think like the Twitterati ) The problem is/was I try not to use abbreviations in the FAQ (well thats the exception) so my brain didnt process the obvious solution - 1st (which was in the original title) - please not the Twitterati! The box is limited to 60 characters apparently - proboards not a fan of verbose descriptions.

Hi, I'm still getting used to pre-funding and completely cocked up PBL140 to the tune of 11k . For bottom-up loans do you put in the max you want and if it is available you get it, if not a pro-rata amount below this. Are ALL loans now bottom-up including > 1 million? Thanks!

Correct - Simply input what you would like And yes, all loans are bottoms up
