This has just happened to me. PBL057 shows as fully sold but it states only 99.4% sold in my "selling loanparts". I'm sure, like the others, it will be corrected but not sure if SS need to look into why it keeps happening. It happened to me in the same loan yesterday, I am fairly certain (but wasn't actually looking) that it corrected itself when some more of the loan was sold. This is exactly how the 'old' bug behaved, but it's cause was different - simultaneous purchases. I emailed SS but it had cleared by the time they looked.

I'm sure, like the others, it will be corrected but not sure if SS need to look into why it keeps happening. There are two loan parts which appear like this: 228311 27/02/2016 27/02/2016 0 days £0.01 £0.00 100.0% 181599 27/01/2016 27/01/2016 0 days £0.01 £0.00 100.0% Something is stopping loan parts from reaching £0.00, get stuck on £0.01 and thus not cleared from the selling list. Is it possible that this arises from fractions of a penny that are in the background?

I have on a few occasions put a loan part up for sale, say £500 and its all sold bar 19p my account does not show any credit and the loan part shows something like 99% sold, not a problem in its self, but i then had to wait until someone else wanted to sell the same pbl loan and then find a buyer to get rid of the 19p. and on this occasion the next part did not go up for sale until the day after, so i lost a days interest for the sake of a sticky 19p. Not sure if that's a bug problem tho... and as far as computer coding is concerned, i do not know my Parse from my elbow.

If you'd wanted to free up the £499.81, you could have bought the 19p yourself.

They should have enough info to be able to track it to its lair, or at least put some debug in the right place. It always seems to affect one loan (at a time) so maybe it is an elusive animal, but when it strikes it always seems to be the case that your sold part is not noted as sold until someone sells the next part in the same loan. Meanwhile, despite it 'not being sold', none shows up as for sale. For an audit they could try 'for any loan showing nothing for sale, check there are no user parts showing not yet sold' (as long as you can make sure you avoid the race/hazard where one has changed and the other has not yet caught up). When it happened to me, the amount involved was more than £0.01, iirc, so I doubt it is just rounding.

Due to this scenario, I tend to split loan parts when they're put up for sale - the final part being only a few quid, so no big deal if a few remaining pennies are not being bought, and no other lender adds to the pot. I used to do this all the time on the old platform due to both the stuck loan sale bug and the pennies left behind issue. However, since the bug had disappeared with the new website and everything sold out instantly I'd gone back to not bothering, looks like I might have to re-visit. .
