We are going to show the amount for sale in front of you in the queue as well so you can make a more informed decision about selling/cancelling the sale.
Thank you for instigating this. Much appreciated.IMHO, what would be very helpful is for Saving Stream to create a column on the selling parts tab, to display the queue/amount in front of the part that an investor has requested to be sold. When investors see that that there is a queuing system and that the displayed amount is slowly reducing, in front of their own requested sale amount, then hopefully those inclined to worry, will be more calmed and chilled. Again these are my thoughts and a suggestion for the Saving Stream suggestion box…

In case noones noticed you can now cancel loan parts up for sale
I note that when you do that it treats the cancelled part as a new loan part

This is great it allows lots more flexibility when selling. I've also gone back to old sales and split them into smaller loan parts then relisted for sale.

In case noones noticed you can now cancel loan parts up for sale I note that when you do that it treats the cancelled part as a new loan part Have not seen it yet; have nothing on sale. Where does it appear / how does it work? If you view a selling loan part there is a button that lets you cancel the sale. When I tried this it cancelled the whole sale (or presumably the remaining unsold part). I didn't see an option for part cancellation (not that I wanted it). I guess you could sell a large part in smaller chunks to give you this flexibility if you think you might need it. Two other things that Savingstream hinted at implementing but I didn't see evidence of: - I didn't see any advice as to what was ahead of me in the selling queue (something SS said they would implement) - I didn't see anything which said that interest would be paid while the loan was for sale (not complaints - just observations) Edit: I have subsequently noticed that only whole loan parts may be cancelled. If some of the loan part has sold then you can't cancel the rest of it (there is no cancel link from the selling loans page). But as I mentioned above you can sell big loan parts in smaller chunks and you can individually cancel each chunk as long as that chunk hasn't part sold.

Thanks for the replies. Will have to wait till I have something to sell to see the new button. Well, you could try it out if you have a loan part from one with a long Q, don't mind an extra loan part, and don't mind an extra email if you don't unselect the cancel sale notification box first . Looks like it worked fine on my trial.

Thanks for the replies. Will have to wait till I have something to sell to see the new button. Why wait if you can cancel the sale?

I took up your suggestion. I put £100 of PBL060 (a whole loan part I had); then I cancelled the sale. It has the same loan part number. Works perfectly.

So, did anyone stay up until midnight?
Looks like a few queues have gone down overnight, but did (as some suggested) everything get cancelled at 11.55 and relisted at 12.05 ?
I'm guessing that anyone who really wants to sell will stay in the queue
