I'm wondering how many will buy the new loans, leave selling other parts to the last minute, then have loan parts put back on the market because they can't sell the old loans in time.
Secondary Market is now full of parts, don't expect to sell quickly.

Secondary Market is now full of parts, don't expect to sell quickly. It depends what you are looking to sell. All of the parts I listed for sale this afternoon disappeared in seconds, but then they all had 150 - 250 days to run. Anyone looking to sell the very recent large loans or those that are shortly due / overdue for repayment may certainly find it takes a while.

Is anyone else still struggling to but this one on the SM (getting stuck at Processing Investment)?

Yep, seems there is still an issue trying to invest in this loan. PBL87 seems to be working fine though.

I just tried a test purchase and the problem is still there, it will be 'interesting' to see if the aborted purchases are logged and eventually made ..... or if they have just spun out into the ether.

Only 1084 lenders at launch I see that is now down to 1074. At this rate, there will be only one investor left by 5 July and they'll have a hell of an exposure. I don't want that to be me so I'm selling up ...

I don't want that to be me so I'm selling up ... Well unless that imaginary investor intends to buy up over £3m of the loan just for him/herself, the loan will still be in the hands of the investors who cannot sell the loan on the SM. I think you'll find those missing 10 people are the ones currently earning zero interest on this loan who are trying to offload their over gamed allocation. Once you put a loan on the SM you are not classed as an investor and the numbers drop on the investor total. Currently if nothing sells on all of the SM today, SS will have saved about £500 in interest payments. Thats a nice boost for their office tea and biscuit fund.

As a newbie I have a question. Is it correct that you cannot sell on holdings on SM till the loan is fully subscribed. Was this loan fully subscribed and now some investors are trying to sell back parts?

I had thought that an overhung investor who is selling only his overhang would still be counted as an investor and would still earn interest on the part not being sold?

Was this loan fully subscribed and now some investors are trying to sell back parts? You are not correct. MT works like that, SS doesn't. You can list parts for sale at any point but they may take a while to actually be sold. On SS you don't earn interest on parts waiting to be bought. If SS is selling any underwriters parts any retail lenders parts, e.g. You and I, would go ahead of the underwriters parts in the queue. Short of trying to sell something though, the different part types can't be distinguished.

At the moment the sales Q on PBL 088 is only growing as savingstream seem to have a technical hitch that is preventing anyone from buying it. Rumour has it that the technical issue is also spreading to other loans - PBL 027.

Was it OG who had a secret page to see what was on the market?

It looks to me that since savingstream used the word Saga in a post, oldgrumpy appears to have gone on his holidays

t'was indeed me, and not all that secret since it has been posted here several times. you can see sold, selling, live, and all, parts in any loan. As long as you are properly logged out at the time. here you go, in case you can't work search .. savingstream.co.uk/_fragments/Loan/UserLoanParts?loan=182&view=livereplace 182 with the loan number, and 'live' with 'selling' 'sold' or leave blank for all parts
