ablrateandy regarding these new loans, will there be any form of pledging/pre bidding for these or don't you think that will be necessary for these amounts

Perhaps Larry wants to borrow against this:- EDIT: Just noticed how horribly photoshopped it is but that fact remains the chap did buy one. Parks it in SA iirc.

Hi All
On the loan discussed in the email as of last week, we are looking into some further information received and will let you know where we stand. Obviously it is important for us to be absolutely sure of the facts and apply our procedures before we release details. I hope to be able to let everyone know the situation very soon.
Regards Ablrate

If I recall correctly MoneyThing backed out of an announced big deal days before a loan was due to go live based on discussions just towards the end. Nothing at all wrong in doing that if it seems appropriate. Better for all concerned to say no when that's the right answer. I don't think that MoneyThing received anything but praise in response to their decision. Take all the time you need. Beats the alternatives.

Hi All
We are gearing up for a busy time with a number of loans that are approaching a point where they can be listed on Ablrate. The pipeline is quite large for the coming weeks, so we hope you are geared up to get involved.
The first is going to be a loan for the motor industry. We have looked at a number of transactions over the last year, as one of our Directors, Phil Taylor, has spent 30 years in senior positions within the industry. Our ideal scenario is one where there is diversification of debt within a single loan, rather than trying to do a number of smaller loans directly. The industry is also a complex one and requires excellent management and monitoring to maintain the security levels.
We have found this in a loan with AXXXX CXXXXXXXX FXXXXX Ltd. The proposal will be for a loan to a ring fenced SPV that will pay 12% to lenders and will be £250,000 minimum and £500,000 maximum. Loans will be no more than 70% LTV within the SPV and it will benefit from extra cash or assets to reduce the LTV further, the term will be 36 months. It will also benefit from a cross company guarantee and the deal is underwritten for £250,000 by a Director of the company who already has funds within the SPV. Existing funds are being subordinated to our lenders. The funds will be used to finance vehicle stocking requirements for approved dealers throughout the UK. You will be able to see full details on the platform within the next couple of days (we will give you a heads up before it goes live).
On the aircraft side, we are looking at a number of loans but as you will be aware it is a complex business and we need to make sure everything is completed to our satisfaction.
I will be updating you further on the listing date for this first one, we also are looking at another loan for next week that will be for the leisure industry, we are working on the paperwork for that right now. There may also be a small loan to one of our existing customers in the removal crate business.
Regards
David
