I tried all of the above but it's a persistent little *******. As I said earlier, Adblock Browser seems finally to have vanquished it.

Does the browser not open to the same place it was when it was closed? On a laptop, where I have several tabs open at the same time and need to refer from one to the other, this method will not work for me. Ad-block does. These people are just shooting themselves in the foot. Without the latest type of ads I did not mind having them on screen.

Today I got some ads when accessing the forum on my mobile, which I would consider 'predatory'. Expensive subscription service advertised on full screen display. Ad is hard to get rid of and wants to bill the subscription directly through my mobile bill.

Thx, however hard to do when the ad blocks the full screen on the mobile and is pesky hard to get it away

Finding i'm getting auto-redirected from safari on iphone when accessing this site, had to use ad-block to get in so i suspect a dodgy ad is doing this (had similar on off issues on flyertalk.com and always the damn ads). Anyone know who i can report it to as the site is currently unusable on safari and i'm not sure if adblock is allowed for accessing the site (eg flyertalk may ban you for accessing using such...).

You should report Ad problems to Pro-Boards (who host the forum) via the "Report Ad" link at the very bottom of the page. I installed Crystal Ad Blocker from the App Store some time ago after having similar problems and it works a treat. Forum pages load much faster too, with ads blocked.

If only we actually could use that link as redirecting ads do exactly that instantly so no idea which ad does it. Drives me batty, probably some bored 13 year old kid doing it as well!!

Weird, I picked up something about the North Korea Dictator this morning. Who knew he had to advertise?

I've been getting pop up ads every time I access the forum from my phone for the past few days, I can't see anyway to get rid of them or report them, apparently i'm one of only 20 people chosen to trial the new iPhone 7

Use Adblocker or other similar apps and your troubles will be over. I know these apps are bad for Proboard's advertising revenue, but if they can't deal with these pop ups it is inevitable that people will resort to them.

In fact I only need to use Adblocker on my phone, I don't get the annoyance on my pad or pc.
