Give it 24hrs and we'll be back where we started, except Ed will have his float for new loans, but will they shift without CB? Danger of a vicious circle here. It may be a vicious circle but as we've seen on this occasion, offering cashback brings in new investors and new money which investors withdraw from other platforms so will allow MT to expand. Eventually loans will just fill anyway once more investors are lured in without the need to offer cashback as we've seen on SS.

CB now successfully applied on both Bolton loans. Regards, Ed. As it's rather late in the day I've switched from my desktop onto an iPad and I've just noticed that the highlighted notes in the loan title showing whether the loan is open or closed for cash back don't appear at all on the iPad as they did on my desktop earlier this evening. There's nothing I can see anywhere on the Bolton loan tranches that indicates the cash back has now been paid when viewing from the iPad, so I hope people using iPads aren't going to invest in the SM sales thinking it is still part of the primary market offer and that they will be getting cash back

Can you see the big red writing advertising cashback on the actual AE loan page? Perhaps, MoneyThing , some similar message advising the end of cashback should be placed on the Bolton loan pages to avoid the further disappointment of not earning cashback for our Apple friends already crushed by the inadequacies of their overpriced equipment? It is of course one way to clear the £120k flipped back onto the market, a cunning plan on the part of Shuang.

All show correctly on my iPad.

Amused to see that Funding Secure have now lunged for the cashback lever too. Sadly I'm now skint, but I'm still not sure it carries the same attraction; the upfront reward is the same but there is no sensible exit route without holding to term as heavy discounting will inevitably be needed to sell anything via the rather bizarre FS SM. So far the cashback amount is almost mirroring the take up, little more than 1% on any of the 3 loans. I considered it when one of my loan parts achieved a surprising sale but then my inner rate w*o*e piped up and I bunged it in the 15% loan which might actually have some SM liquidity.

£30k already back on the market, hows that for flipping (not mine) Now over £90k already That's going to take a while to shift! Yep. I've sold £19 in 8 hours so far. At this rate it could take several years!

The Bolton Loan is still a good loan in itself, even without cashback, so should sell, just needs a bit of time

All show correctly on my iPad. Hmm - most odd, this morning all showing correctly on mine too. I tried logging back in several times last night and they never showed. Either something's changed on the site or this inexplicable machine has moved into deliberately playing tricks on me (not realising that it doesn't have to try hard to send me demented ). I've done nothing whatsoever on it in between logging out of MT last night and logging back in this morning. Just another of those inexplicable life events, I suppose, but if it could happen to me then it could happen to someone else, so text within the loans themselves would be a good belt and braces.

Very similar to my experience. 'Cashback' details were showing in Windows 10 yesterday but not in Window XP, both with using same version of Firefox. Today, without any logging out/in (permanently switched on and kept logged-in via ReloadEvery) I found XP was now showing the extra detail.

Sounds like something to do with caching of stylesheets. Wonder if it was recently updated for the cashback styling?
