Does anybody know how to get a statement of interest earned and tax deductible losses (probably 0 right now) for the end of year tax return. I may be suffering from screen blindness. ashwinp can you help please?

ashwinp, is it possible to add a column to the tables on the tax statement page for the current tax year? It would be useful to see the total interest received in the current tax year to date. I don't think it's possible to calculate the interest received from the Loan Portfolio page without drilling down into each loan. It's only possible to calculate the interest on loans that have been fully repaid (as distinct from partial repayments, which are common). I'm not sure you have the space for another column but splitting out repayments into capital and interest would allow us excel users to sum the interest received from a capture of the Loan Portfolio page.

I ask for this on a monthly basis and have been told a dynamic tax statement would have been available by now. Repayment split between interest/capital is not readily available. As I can't see what I'm earning this is a significant drag on my investment levels.

Considering adding this platform. Has the tax statement been added yet? No downloadable PDF but you can print to PDF the tax statements page. It shows Total Interest Received and Total Loan Principal Loss for each tax year. Btw I heard a rumour that Unbolted were going to introduce a variable pricing SM:D Sorry, couldn't resist archie - of course it's a joke

Considering adding this platform. Has the tax statement been added yet? yes, under "loan portfolio". Unbolted has one of the best autoinvest features. I have gradually added money over almost 6 months to get up to nearly £9K invested now. I'd think it harder to go any quicker than that though. And at some point, repayments will equal new loans so an equilibrium will be reached. Others may have already got there.

I try to keep £500 balance so there is a little cash drag.

Can I ask what your max Auto-Lend is set at and what size pieces do you tend to get?
Thanks.

Can I ask what your max Auto-Lend is set at and what size pieces do you tend to get? Thanks. My experience is that for the majority of small "normal" "small" sized loans on the platform, auto-bid allocates all investors £5/each - regardless of what your bid limits are set at (i.e. if set to £50 or set to £500, you'll only be allocated a £5 stake). Occasionally you may get allocated £6-£10 if it's a slightly larger loan. It's only when there is a unusually large value loan on the platform that auto-lend will tend to really go any higher. For example, with max auto-lend set to £50, the max I was ever allocated was around £38. But that's rare - as I say, the vast majority of the time it's just £5.

I top up with £500 when drops much below £500 as there is usually a day or so delay in the payment being added to the account, and one then risks missing out on the occasional big loans (which I usually put a few hundred in) and any rush of autoloans

I usually get 1/150th of the loan size give or take (range 1/100th to 1/200th). The highest has been £300-odd, then a few £100-plussers (eg £144 of the nearly £20K Aston Martin on Friday), but three figure sums are unusual.

Thanks both of you. I'm happy with my £5-6 parts but just wondered what it was like for larger investors.
