You have to pick one account, if you don't want to go in and tinker.
EDIT: I should have said you can only invest new money in one account, once invested payments will roll back into the same account it was invested in unless you manually intervene. So you could put a lump sum into each account and then leave it.
It sounds like with the ISA version you will be able to spread across the accounts, but we'll have to wait and see exactly how that will work when it arrives.
Edit: But thinking about it, if you don't need to access the money you don't really want to use the access account (and take a lower rate) and I would think anyone would want to keep an eye on the plus account (because of expected losses), so your main option would really be the classic account anyway.
