ISA time looming so it looks like S &S again. With the FTSE100 at c7300 I'll have to place the cash in my account and wait, I think. (Nice 10% drop before Mr Woodford's new fund starts?)
I think we can forget AC for the IF ISA when it appears, unless we are prepared to accept loans with 7.5% or less. Imagine trying to invest £20K when MLIA allocations for the loans AC now often offer result in two figure allocations! And what are the chances AC divert almost all new loans to the IS IFA when it does launch, leaving non-ISA investors looking elsewhere for their "sport"? Even in GBIA (currently targeted at 7%, and that is not likely to continue for "Issue 2"), does anyone have any inkling of how long AC take to actually deploy that figure if placed as a lump sum?

Imagine trying to invest £20K when MLIA allocations for the loans AC now often offer result in two figure allocations! What's the problem with this? I've done it many many times. You do have to accept whatever is there and then trickle out to all the other loans, so it's not fire and forget. And what are the chances AC divert almost all new loans to the IS IFA when it does launch, leaving non-ISA investors looking elsewhere for their "sport"? Ah - good point - just because I've done it in the past doesn't mean to say I can do it in the future. I expext IF-ISA to be a lot of money and 99% of that money will be very happy with 3.75% so we can expect MLIA starvation.
