Got an email from them today saying they've consulted various people and got conflicting advice, are consulting a lawyer and hope to have an answer for us early next week Well, "next week" came and went ..... I just get the same response each time I call them. Has anyone heard anything different? I sent a chaser email yesterday but no response yet.

I am not sure if lendingcrowd are actively monitoring this forum any longer - they haven't logged on since June 22 - so I emailed them and got this response: though they don't actually say what the legal advice they received states!

If they're having to change it to make it clearer what's taxable, then I would hope they're removing cashback from the taxable total - otherwise what would they be changing? Thanks for the update, I must admit I'd given up chasing them

No idea if it's a work in progress, but I thought I'd go see if there had been any change to mine and sure enough it's been updated to NOT include the bonus Hurrah! Not entirely sure if the fees should have been deducted tho ?

I'd almost given up on this getting corrected. Logged into LC to check something else, and there it was! One more piece falls into place.

G * F should head into the "bad debt" for TY 2015/6,
A B R won't as there was a payment in TY 2016/7
S************* could still do so... (Though I hope not)

G * F should head into the "bad debt" for TY 2015/6, I don't think that's the case, as the debt is only eligible for relief once it's considered "irrecoverable", not necessarily when it went "late", and certainly not when the last payment was received.

Losses are not eligible for tax relief unless you are running a lending business.
