Both gone within seconds and i got nowt Funding secure:
When loans fill in seconds, it shows that your Maximum investment restriction should have been in place or is set far too high. Its so frustrating, wasting time doing DD etc and then not being able to get even a morsel of any loan!! Please set more realistic limits to enable more investors to take a slice. Many people (myself included) would disagree with this. Having a tiny maximum bid makes it a complete waste of time managing the loan holding for me. I would much rather have a 10% chance of getting 10 times the loan size. For me £500 is already too low to bother with, I would rather it was set at £5k (if there has to be a limit) with a corresponding reduced chance of getting a slice. I understand where you are coming from but different investors have different needs and I think FS do a good job with their stated aim of trying to please all types of investors by having low bid limits on some loans, higher limits on others and no limits on others. I think everyone needs to compromise a little on some of the loans. These are both good loans which were renewing, so there was never going to be much to go around.

I think my gripe is the time i have wasted, on many occasions, reading about the loans etc., looking on here to see if any of the more knowledgeable investors have a view, scheduling time to be available when the loan goes live, only to find it was all wasted time and effort. Now, if i can just learn how to go for the 'decent' loans where i actually have a realistic chance of being successful.

I wouldn’t waste time doing DD on a loan like this. It’s small and has a low LTV. When you see that other FS loans rank behind it, it gives a huge amount of confidence so it’s going to be very popular.

Photos taken 3:30pm Wed 5th Sept. No signs of any workmen, but various tools visible. The renewal that went live in April claimed on the Assets tab that work was complete, but by the time of the July renewal that had been downgraded to substantially complete. Front, and front window (sunny day so bad reflections !)

In the context of seemingly poor comms from the borrower to FS, its worth bearing in mind this is the same borrower as Rishton Land.
