I can't think of the top of my head where there is a leisure centre near this, there is how ever 2 car show rooms, a car park (for 1 of the show rooms, some office blocks, a big post office building and a go kart track all with in 500m. I can try and be in the area, if you let me know what you want me to find out, I'll try to get there. The fitness centre is to the left of (or behind) the Ford dealership. I didn't have any burning queries in mind, but if you're going anyway it would be nice to try to get a better idea of how confident they are about receiving the new PP, timing thereof and how this affects their build schedule. Do they come across as the professional outfit they appear to be? Also, did they really only provide two days' notice that the exhibition was taking place? (i.e. Don't they want people to know about the exhibition and attend? What are they afraid of?) Pix of any exhibits would be nice. And what's the deal with that white curtain? I'll take a wild guess and say its been "weathered" so they can work in there while its windy/raining, they may be, concreting, screeding floors or doing something else that would be adversely affected because of bad weather.....

Go to the roundabout as you drive out of the city centre, the development is on your right, being the Jaguar dealership. The Land Rover dealership is on the left and the leisure club (use to be called greens) is next to the leisure club on the left. If your driving the into town, its the other way around, leisure club on the right, development on the left.

Sorry for not getting back to you all sooner, I've had some technical issues. I did attend the place, it was very late on, only 1 person spoke to me, to say they are shutting soon.
I did how ever take some pics, and then my lil girl smashed my screen. Phone has came back wiped clear.

Has there been any indication when the recent PP request might be decided? ISTM that this development is rapidly approaching -- if it hasn't already passed -- the point where it'd be too late to change the number of apartments included.

The construction looks to me to be a 'cardboard walls' type job, where you can reconfigure the innards at any point (even after you have finished it, subject to having to mess with the plumbing and electrics a bit). Clearly nothing internal is even the least bit 'structural', so Kirsty Allsop and her sledgehammer could have a field-day adjusting layouts. 8>. I guess 'too late' would be 'after they've sold them'.

The PBL092 developer is holding a public exhibition (across the street at a fitness centre) of its proposed design, which I assume refers to the new plans for the site submitted on 31 May 2016 as highlighted in red in cooling_dude 's OP. It's tomorrow (Friday, 26 August) between 12 noon and 8 pm. Anyone going to be in the vicinity? Found a link to the exhibition brochure on the Company's website, worth a look - <link identifying borrower's asset removed>
