That is reassuring, in my transfer process out of Selftrade, they now consider "communication" to be writing to the internal email address held within the account, so basically a dead letter box drop. This morning the move hit a snag and AJ Bell wrote to my email account (both companies have this address but only one has the brains to use it) asking for a decision, Selftrade wrote to the dead letter box drop..... Good news the problem has been overcome and for once Selftrade used a survey to find out how I was feeling about their service.... Yeah, I think you'll be pleased with AJ Bell, they've been first class since I've been with them. They paid my transfer costs from idealing without so much as a quibble, even when idealing sent me a closing statement as an excel spreadsheet, rather than on company headed paper, as requested! To be honest, I think they were as exasperated as I was with idealing at the end!
