Hiya Is anyone aware of any issues processing funding payments to savingstream today? I sent a faster payment early this morning (pre 09:00am) to clear the outstanding amounts for my allocation of PBL092/093 but its not been credited to my account yet. Regards Dave

Regards Dave SS process incoming payments manually and it can take up to 24hrs to show on your SS account; it would usually show up on your SS account the next working day, so you may have to wait until Monday. However I think they also process payments on Saturday, so you might see it tomorrow. EDIT: be sure to read ilmoro FAQ post here, as this and many more of your potential questions are covered.

Regards Dave I think they did a very early payment run today, as was noted here , my payment sent FP at about 8:00 am hasn't been credited yet either which is pretty unusual. I'm sure they've arrived and will be credited tomorrow morn or Monday .

Snap, although mine may have been nearer 8:30 or 9:00. I was a bit surprised to get no email (no, not even one!) but hopefully it'll get to them before they get too excited about my overdraft.

I sent two payments yesterday around 7am and mid afternoon , both deposit confirmation emails were received before 7.50am this morning. I then sent another payment to clear my outstanding balance and as yet that's not credited, I'm hoping it's showing tomorrow as I don't like to see the negative balance.

I think they have moved their batch job up a little... My payment sent yesterday was processed and email received at 7:30 this morning, two hours earlier than previously the case.

On a slightly different tack I received an email this morning asking me to clear my negative balance which was caused by loans I purchased just after mid-night. Not sure how that fits in with the 48 hours grace period. My settlement payment has still not been credited.

Not sure how that fits in with the 48 hours grace period. My settlement payment has still not been credited. The messages are automated, but the deposits are not. The automated message is always sent the following morning a deficit has occurred, but you will always get 48hours (or 2 working days) to clear the balance (whether it's via the SM, or via sending money). However SS manually handle deposits, so it can take 24hrs to see your deposit on your SS account.

Payment got processed this morning so that's OK, I'm a happy bunny. Like others have mentioned, I too don't like seeing the negative balance especially over the weekend as that is when my wife likes to have a nosey at what I've been doing with our money I do appreciate that things are manual, but as my previous payments have been credited on the same day, when something not quite in the ordinary occurs... you start to get twitchy George

Are you aware that SS have a tendency to backdate some statement entries so that, in retrospect, it looks like they happened before they actually did? Here are two examples... - Interest typically is paid on the first day of the month, but it appears on our statements dated the last day of the previous month.
- When I make a deposit on the afternoon of one day, my account balance doesn't reflect the credit, and I don't receive the email acknowledging the deposit, until the following day. When I look at my statement, however, I find that the deposit is dated the day I made it rather than the day it was added to my account.

Interest payments - I've not checked the dates previously but would expect that as there could be transactions taking place up until midnight on the last day of the month, so reconciliation could only really take place the next day i.e. the first working day of the month. Deposit payments to my account - I've always made them early morning and had previously noted that they have always been credited on that same day. Hence the raised eyebrow and question being raised when it did not follow a normal pattern! I've not made an afternoon payment so would not know. Regards John

I also would have thought that backdating transactions would cause reconciliation problems, but SS do it so I guess they must be happy with the process. I used to have difficulty when transactions were backdated so far that they weren't on the visible part of my screen listing transactions -- mainly when I had been active buying or selling parts the evening before -- but now I know to look further down the list and can live with this anomaly.

Most credit cards I've used have similar "anomalies" - the transaction shows the date on which it actually occurred, even though it doesn't appear on the statement until up to a few days later (especially for transactions in foreign parts). Some of them take it a step further and show two dates for the transaction - the date on which it occurred AND the date on which it appeared on the statement. Could be worse - some other providers have been known to retrospectively backdate, modify or remove transactions weeks after they occurred...

Or forward dated payments! Especially when the money is paid in March but for accounting purposes is forward dated into the new tax year.

Made purchases yesterday and sent money by bank transfer early this morning. The money has not been credited to my account although having left my bank. I have not received normal email from SS to say it is received and I have emailed them 3 hours ago without any reply. The phones are now on answerphone and I assume that is for the weekend. Is there any further bank reconciliations due today or tomorrow or do I just wait till Monday and hope that investments are not cancelled.
