Latest two loans at 5.5% There is speculation that post Trump general interest rates will soon be on the move upwards, so I will not be locking in for a year at that level.

I have been attempting to rebalance into other platforms simply because of the lack of the SM option.

I've just started pulling money out of Lendinvest. I've been with them for a while.
5.5% to provide development financing doesn't make any sense to me, particularly when you can find similar/lower risk loans at 2x the return elsewhere.

Same here, unattractive rates with high LTVs, LTVs not shown separately on A & B, minimal information, poor website, still my largest platform but in withdrawal mode now.

Another loan repaid early and auto-invest put it into one of these. If there are lot of investors with auto switched on then LI know that any new loan will immediately fill (to that extent) so will not be overly concerned that the rate is low. i don't like that. Looks like I will have to turn auto-invest off as there is no way of setting a minimum rate. What a pain.

I often feel that many p2p platforms offer facilities / dont offer facilities that try to constrain the investors down a certain path that is not directly in the investors interests.

I think the same, too many 5%ers now. And if you click through now and look at the two 5.5%s, the borrower rates are 11.9% and 10%, so there is an argument to be made there that LI are offering lenders a rate they think will clear, as opposed to a rate that reflects how they priced the risk themselves when underwriting. Hardly shocking I guess, we're all grown ups.

5% is a total waste of space. you can get that in a current account with considerably less risk
Don't know what's going on at LI but unless they start raising rates I'll be cashing out. I'm sure I won't be alone

I agree DiQ I allocated an amount to LendInvest for peer to peer and was happy with this sitting at around 7% However, I cannot see myself hanging around once it drops to 5%. I do think had they had a SM I would probably have reduced my position by now.

I've gradually reduced my position as loans repay. I leave the funds there for a couple of weeks but withdraw if nothing with a decent rate appears.
Not worth the risk being tied to a loan that you have no control over if when rates are poor.
