Hi
Relative newcomer to SS. I have some loan parts for modest amounts and this afternoon while trying to sell/buy on the site, most of my loan parts (not all) are coming up as 'Not eligible for sale'
I have n't seen this before. Anyone any idea what this means.

I went to sell a loan part that I bought last night when I realised that I would because another site had not released funds I would not be able to pay for it. (same day sale so no interest gain) however a message came up 'not eligible for sale'. I then looked and all my loan parts I bought last night have the same message. Has anyone else come across this ?

Well, just as a test I just bought 0.1p of PBL85, and it is in "Not eligible for sale", and I have another loan part from 3 days ago that is also "Not eligible for sale"...

Sounds like a bug. Log out and back in and try again, or maybe later.

Older ones, say more than 10 days ago are still ok to sell. I see someone else has started a thread also

And I can't sell the IOW investments
I wonder if SS are cracking down on people trying to play the system by forcing them to keep new loan parts they invest in for a min of 3 days...

Sounds like a bug. Log out and back in and try again, or maybe later. Yes that was my first thought so I did logout and then back in again but someone else has same problem (see new thread)

Could well be, maybe it's a new rule, you are banned from selling a loan part within 72 hours of buying it, stopping gamers.

I have up to 6 days; anything over 6 days I can sell. I've got multiple parts of 91. Most I can sell, but the one which is only 7 days old is not eligible.

Dont have a problem with SS putting this in place to stop the gaming.
However, I do have a problem with the poor communication to explain the changes.

Seems odd. I just bought a 1000 pounds worth of PBL85. And it has gone to Not eligible for sale.
But the buyer must of been able to sell it to me
