I transferred some money from my bank this morning at 08:15, it was in my Savings Stream account by 08:20. I've never seen a transfer that quick before, I wonder if withdrawals will be as quick? Pure luck of timing, I think. Whatever time you transferred, it would have been there at 8.20...

Unless your transfer had been 6 minutes later, in which case it wouldn't have appeared until sometime tomorrow morning (their banking run is not done at a fixed time)

Unless your transfer had been 6 minutes later, in which case it wouldn't have appeared until sometime tomorrow morning (their banking run is not done at a fixed time) Seems a bit early for a banking run? I would have thought they would still be eating their cornflakes.

Quick question - I made a withdrawal request on Friday. The funds are now gone from my SS but have not yet appeared in my bank account. Does anyone know what method they use for transfers?

Faster Payment - they should do a payment run by mid-late morning on Monday and should see the funds in your bank then. In my experience, if you submit the withdrawal request before 8am, you will almost definitely receive the funds by midday on the same day. If you miss the cut-off, it will be the same time next business day.

I'll just add that my last two payments into SS (made early doors > prior to 8:00am) have been processed on the day. Funds requested to leave SS (made early doors > prior to 8:00am) have not been processed until the next day. Two can play at the funding game  Dave |

Two can play at the funding game Dave Yes , I have been keeping an eye out now , I transferred some funds out yesterday and the way things have been of late I am thinking I will not see them till some time tomorrow . Does appear to be slower than it was.

Withdrawals are fast and reliable for me.
I have been making UK withdrawls almost daily for the last couple of weeks and I make the withdrawal request late in the evening before I go to bed so I have the maximum amount to withdraw and it is always processed quite early the next morning and the money is in my bank normally by 8 or 9 o'clock or certainly by 10 at the latest.
Last weekend the saving stream guys even worked on Saturday and a withdrawal request I did on Friday evening was in my bank on Saturday morning. They don't always action things on a Saturday though, it's about 50 50 whether it will be done on Saturday or whether it will wait until Monday.
I have to say I find the withdrawal speed very good indeed. Withdrawal request one evening and money in bank early next morning it turns around in about 8 hours for me. Important thing to understand is they do all the financial dealings first thing in the morning usually between 8 and 10 a.m.
As regards the original poster saying withdrawals are now ultra fast, I can confirm that there has in fact been no speed change in withdrawls for the last year or so but I restate my position that I am very satisfied with the service in this regard.

I made a withdrawal request early evening yesterday and nothing in my account yet, and it is 12:11pm I had a withdrawal processed at 12:16pm - thank you boble, it's always the way that something happens just AFTER you've given up waiting n'est-ce pas? (I am assuming yours happened too?)
