So I found 2 emails this morning, one saying my interest had been paid, the other that I'd had a full loan repayment (for the £100 I have invested in all loans) which made no sense. Just logged in and finally worked out that yeah I've been paid the right interest and also appear to have had a capital repayment on the Aintree land....but it's been incorrectly added so I now have a balance of £105 (had £5 in Aintree) Whilst I'm not one to turn down free money it doesn't really bode well for the future of the platform if they can't get simple maths right

mine appears to be added up correctally although I did get a bonus £800 for about a day when I first joined
I hope they get these little problems sorted out as they seem to have taken the better ideas around just do not seem to have got it working yet

Crazy... Now that I'm more awake I've realised that nope, it's not free money, just nothing adding up correctly. Just feels like we're being used as testers (and I'd hesitate to even label this as beta). Maybe it's just cos this is the first time I've tried a platform that is quite this new, but it worries me that obvious transactions have not been tested before they decided to open their doors - makes me wonder how they'll cope with further evolution. Well I guess I'm tied in to seeing how it goes as I put some shrapnel in the larger ones - which I can't sell until they fill, and I can't imagine (m)any will invest larger amounts in them unless they change the SM rules so my guess is they won't fill.

It does seem to be a bit of a beta test although they did say they had already tested it with others before so those testers must have been pretty useless. I am sure a lot of the other sites when were new had similar issues so will wait and see

Yep same thing - account balance has now been corrected (£95) but loans funded £100 (withdrew my £5 + interest as don't want to reinvest while the SM is very illiquid). Maybe they hope to just fix glitches as & when we identify them - but personally I think if one thing is wrong they should at least check other headline figures. At least the withdrawal was quick

I had the same problems but it seems to have been corrected now. I can live with little niggles with a new platform but I don't like the silence from collateral . Edit: It seems it hasn't been corrected. The account balance is correct but the loans funded box is showing the same amount as my account balance but the available funds box is saying I have £25.12 available. So I do have £25.12 available but the loans funded box should be showing minus the £25. @dclxvi These have been corrected, please let us know if there are any outstanding errors/issues. Thank you

And I have just received an email with the following important information.
Dear ,
Collateral are pleased to announce the launch of a new loan of secured against property giving a Loan to Value of ratio of %.
I tried to register, got stuck, told them about it here and by email, no contact, and now idiotic utterly unchecked communications. If they can be this careless attracting new customers (which to them is the big thing) then heaven knows how careless they can be transacting loans. I'm o u t. imho everyone should be out they aren't up to it.

It was the line following "Following the launch of a new loan, there is usually significant market acitivity and we wanted all investors to be made aware of any potential availability." that made me laugh. I know imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but if you're gonna plagiarise then perhaps wait until it has some chance of being true and make sure you get your spelling right.
