I would find it useful to have a "Notes" facility in the My Loans page, pertaining to each loan. Would other investors find this helpful?

Not really. A spreadsheet does the job better for me (available offline as well as when logged in to SS).

This seems like a reasonable suggestion, I think that this some people find this facility useful on Assetz but I don't use it myself.

Normally it's a case of "don't invest because of x/y/z", sometimes "wait to find out about a/b/c before investing".

I'd settle for just a 'how much do I want' field somewhere (on the website). For extra brownie points, an automatic mechanism to buy to reach it. (see Assetz again). Notes in Excel I have .. but not easy to read them in the .25 of a second that something is available for,

Definitely - Assetz Capital have the facility and I use it keep myself up-to-date on every investment. It's also a useful tool to list the reason/s why I haven't invested in certain loans, which saves having to browse the whole pack again. Yes, please. I also find the AC feature very useful.

As far as remembering notes - just buy when you see it, then sell if you find you've over-stepped your intended mark. <shrug>

Yes, but if you buy from 'zero balance' you'll now go negative, and not be able to sell what you just bought for 7 days.

That said, if you are borrowing features from AC, thier allocation method would be higher up my wish list!

A tip - I use Evernote for this. I find it works really well for recording notes about my loans. There is a rudimentary "table/chart" capability - and we all know how much we folks like tables? And if I am away, all the information is automatically also available on my phone and tablet. And it's free, without adverts. And Evernote seem to be a nice company - in several years they have hardly nagged me to upgrade at all.
I would prefer to have all my notes for all my P2P agencies together in one place, and certainly not being looked after by the agencies themselves, much as I trust SS's IT.
(Although I guess, when they are bought by Microsoft or Facebook in 5 years' time, I'll be wishing that I had not sold my soul.)

You don't see it on your computer at all, however if you get online on your phone and go to live loans, then under loan name/number, there is a date in grey, and I believe that's the date the loan gone live. At least they all match the gone-live dates I know about for recent loans. Hope that helps.

Since the info is on the website, I wonder why it doesn't appear on the loans' website pages.
