I agree very few of my loans have had an increase in the interest accrued at midnight, but any interest I was expecting to be paid today has hit my account when due (optical and Bolton) and they are now both back to Zero pence. You're right - Optical and Bolton both reset to zero and paid up into "actual" interest, that's not an issue. It's just the accruals mostly haven't accrued  Look again. I think it is fixed now

I think it is fixed now I wonder if AC's having a big test of the 'new system' and it drew all the processing power to do that, it was too tied up to calculate the interest, or just too tired!

I think it is fixed now It is indeed fixed now (somewhere between 15:25 and 18:00), all the stragglers have come in. Any official answer as to what happened yet (payment run broke? computer overloaded? other?)

I still have not seen the adjustment taking place on the deferred interest I am missing in a few loans...

But on the plus side, no-one's nicked any pennies from my account where I've picked up accrued interest wrongly. So, all good There seems to be a fair bit of manual tweaking involved to correct some of these things, not just the incorrect interest accruals, but the cashbacks (penalties) on the late draw-downs ...

Thanks Jack Sorry no, it's still on my to do list and very near the top but I have a couple of other big developments to get out of the door first. I have all the data saved safe and sound but there's some subtleties that have thus far proven more difficult to work through and total up than anticipated. The recent tax work has helped with that though behind the scenes. This is squarely on my desk and my fault it's taking a while to resolve.

Just a little confused - are the issues with deferred interest going astray purely historical (with corrections to monies due yet to be made), or are there still known bugs the algorithm that allocates deferred interest payments chris? Loan#58 paid up today, and I did not receive any deferred interest which I believe I'm due (I bought a few loan parts, but sold them before today's interest payment). |

The known bugs have been fixed, however unravelling the historic payments and comparing to what should have been paid has proven to be a bigger task than anticipated. I thought I had it all worked out but double checking with a forum member uncovered discrepancies that need deeper analysis of the figures to reconcile. The repayment you mention will be included in this analysis so if there are any issues they should be detected and resolved. In the next few weeks we'll also be transitioning to a new loan model which gives the admin team a few more options to run things the way they want. An offshoot of that will be a restructuring of the way deferred interest is tracked to a simpler and more elegant solution with less scope for things to go awry.

Not a null post Is Hackney Interest correct? Hi Chris, Sorry to bother you at such a busy time but can you get someone in your team to cast an eye over this. I bought some Hackney:  note 194974 I've hilited in blue. then I sell Hackney194974:  then the deferred interest is paid:  I seem to have held 194974 for three months without getting any interest? As for the adjacent Hackney unit: I sold that one on the 9/7/14 at 10.17:49 I guess I'm missing something I just can't see it.
