Does anyone have experience of early redemption of investment. Are they currently allowed, what figure are you getting compared to book value?

Does anyone have experience of early redemption of investment. Are they currently allowed, what figure are you getting compared to book value? Early redemeption depends on the exit plan of the investment and isnt common. Some companies eg Brewdog do offer facilities to trade shares (periodically via Asset Match) and Seedrs will facilitate share sales through the discussion forum if a buyer can be found. Again probably depends on what the company will permit. As far as price, totally depends on what people will pay, Ive seen shares offered at par, modest discount or daft premiums, no idea of the final deals of course. Edit: Or are you talking about early exit from loans? In which case, yes, redeemed at 1-1.5% below actual headline rate (5yr, end 8/19)

With early redemption you get back all the capital investment plus the applicable advertised interest rate at the time of opening for the time that your money was actually invested with Wellesley
I have just cashed in a five year plan which I opened in 2014 and received 4.65% interest instead of the advertised five year rate. I feel that this was extremely fair under the circumstances. You can get a no obligation early exit quote by email, simply click on 'early exit' in the menu. You will have seven days to accept the offer or leave the money where it is.
