At least they've posted an update in a timely manner, that's massive progress from the situation we had before.
Doesn't give me huge confidence that the situation wasn't known (and published) a few days ago, but at least we're not waiting until the Friday update batch to find out

One of of the first things I learnt in business was to "under promise and over deliver". Hope Lendy learn this soon!

Latest Update.... "Unfortunately, and through no fault of the borrower’s, the refinance of the loan has taken longer to complete than expected due to unavoidable legal issues. We remain in close communications with the borrower and his legal representatives and we therefore anticipate that the repayment of all capital, accrued interest and bonus accrual to investors will take place during August 2018." Well at least you got the email; I only learnt of this latest shambles thanks to posts here. What a complete bunk of amateurs Lendy are if they can't even manage to get a round-robin email out to all those invested in this loan. Fortunately for me I tend to ignore the contents of the fortnightly BS updates so at least I didn't wake up this morning with any false hopes of receiving any money back from this loan of DFL005. I'd like to think that in ten years time we'll all look back with incredulity that such an incompetent bunch of "people" were ever allowed to take money from credulous folk such as us!

Fair enough. The refinance was probably going to be made with a handful of magic beans. Lendy and the borrower would have accepted them on the basis that there was historical evidence that they'd have plenty of time to plant them, climb the beanstalk and rob the giant of enough gold to repay the lenders and fund Cowes Week. They were probably thwarted by Anti-GM activists, even the best plans don't always come together.

Here we are in August with nothing repaid.
Drove past this area of poorly fenced waste ground again today. Absolutely nothing has changed and no progress at all.
Lendy are spinning us all along on this loan by just accepting every excuse put forward by this highly skilful borrower who has managed to pay nothing back for such a long time. Promise to repay several times; redemption figure requested several times; fail to honour debt every time.
Perhaps a large handful of magic beans might be a better option for investors. New Lendy Wealth management anyone? Some might think that is the same as buying £50,000 of lottery tickets all for the same draw date.
Thank heaven for this independent site.

It is now half way through August and nothing new on the repayment of this loan from the Cowes highly experienced "wealth creators".
What new excuse will they have dreamt up regarding the failure to repay this loan? Too many seagulls in the area / not enough sunshine this month / run out of ink in the lawyers office so cannot sign documents / hurt hand so cannot sign contact / don't want to upset the children running around on the disused site?
Perhaps those happy to throw cash into the new Wealth account £50k box of mysteries can buy this loan up?

"We continue to seek confirmation regarding the expected completion date of the refinance of this loan." I'm sorry Lendy but that update just isn't good enough. You claimed with a high level of confidence that the loan would be repaid in full by the end of last month, then due to "unavoidable legal issues" this was no longer the case. Now over two weeks later you provide no further meaningful information whatsoever... This is the type of loan whereby you need to provide detailed information to keep investors confidence and this latest update is far from detailed.

Totally agree. Utterly useless non up date. They obviously have not visited this poorly fenced / over grown site. Rather a sign that the borrower has no real interest in the whole project.
Lendy have simply lost control of this project and so many more.
Their PR department might suggest a further renaming - Saving Stream disappeared (at about the same time that investors saw the "stream" of interest and capital repayments on many projects dry up) so Lendy could now become Taxpaid Moneypit / Gonecash / Blackhole to represent the reality of their failure to manage investors money.

Hello Lendy loans management / recovery unit
Welcome back from your exhausting time at Cowes.
I hope you have noticed that it is only 3 days to the end of August when your last update stated you "anticipated" full repayment of this loan and all the outstanding extremely late interest. This followed the failure of your expectations to ensure lenders were repaid in July.
You have run out of excuses for letting this borrower walk all over you.
I wonder what excuse will be generated this time when you fail to deliver this month ? Lawyers lost at sea / borrower on expensive holiday abroad?

Haha.
Next update of fortnightly BS is scheduled for the 31st, I predict there will be some 'unforseen issues' but the completion will be expected in Sept 18.

Hello Lendy.
Sorry to remind you but it is almost the last day of August 2018.
Have you even bothered to call the borrower to see what new load of rubbish they will trot out this time, which you will then happily repeat to us knowing that we can do nothing about your total failure to get this loan re paid?
This loan says it all about your failure to protect previously loyal investors.
