Getting fed up with this suddenly there are 20+ loans with £0.01 available. Getting fed up with this.
Has to be an automated buying system. SS needs to fix this.
And then after a few mins they all dissapeared

Maybe someone is trying to scare us all off with weird stuff so that we sell our SS holdings and they can grab it all. Won't work with me...!

could be a few reasons....
someone maybe testing a new bot to get round the captcha (tho i doubt it)
usually its someone priming the moving of Loan parts from A to B.
or someone just having a laugh. (not me BTW)

Who's putting all these 1p shares on the SM? I have been selling 1p and other small parts. When buying on the SM, some times if £37.51 is up for sale and someone types in 37.50 then I was right behind them and keyed in 37.51 they got in first and took the 37.50 and I ended up with the 1p. So I have decided to clean up my holdings and sell the 1p.

All, the mystery seller confesses all! I've ended up with some annoying little snippets too, like 8p in this, 4p in that. I normally find they sell better if I stick £10 in with them . I'm impressed you managed to sell 1p shares.

I normally find they sell better if I stick £10 in with them . : I'm sure you're right, but if you don't really want to sell that extra £10, don't. Your 1p part might wait a bit before it's sold, but even if it does wait it'll go as soon as someone else offers £10 for sale. You may not be earning interest on the 1p part in the meantime, but that's not going to make a noticeable difference, is it?

Personally, I used to have (have a different system now) 1p shares in investments that I wanted to avoid, so that in a SM frenzy, where FFF is vital, I could quickly see what to avoid.
