Can I just ask how you discovered the CCJs? Duedil shows us the company isn't doing great (but we expected that already), but nothing nasty? I think shimself got the wrong end of the stick. I don't see that he's found anything in this loan, he latched onto something that koba said (see my quote above) and I think koba was talking about a loan that happen early on. koba himself will be the only one for sure so he needs to confirm one way or the other. I can see what you're getting at and I could be wrong. I'm not on Duedil web, site are you? Perhaps someone could run their details thru' and confirm or deny this ccj? As we should find out. This is what was put in the Q&A
"A little detective work leads me to believe the borrower has a couple of CCJs in 2009 and 2012, which is worrying; can you please tell me that I'm wrong, or why it doesn't matter?"
It includes the 2009, and 2012, which have not been mentioned on this thread. Why would these dates be mentioned if it was only based on this thread?

The garden centre seems to do business as a sole trader not as a company. According to the record there were two CCJs for this entity in 2011 - one for £1,735 (satisfied) and another judgement for £2,831 which seems to be unsatisfied. This is for Mac*******s Nurseries and Garden Centre. If I have gotten the wrong borrower Assetz can have half an apology (they can have the other half if they reveal the borrower's identity).

Mac*******s Nurseries and Garden Centre is what I've concluded to be the same one as the Assetz loan.

Well we've 11 days to get to the bottom of this... ... but only if the auction runs to its full term. Having reached 39% since Saturday afternoon, I'd think there's a good chance it will be fully funded before that.

Hey, slow down with the bidding, I've exhausted 'down the back of the sofa' supplies and need more time to check pockets of old coats and jackets........

I'm not on Duedil. I've figured out what site this loan is linked to , it's the one with the [ removed insect ref]., But I'm not in a position to check for CCJs. You're right in that I picked it up here, but after that I did my own investigation. If you google enough you find the name of the nursery, thus the directors, thus the borrower (who has a lovely name from a bygone era - in true forum crossword style sounds like the opposite of me-nasty). EDIT - I have a different nursery in mind A*****m google maps near DoverI googled free ccj check, there is a site, you then plug in the name and you discover some spots of bother in Northampton. Without spending money you don't get to find out if it was a couple of £10 squabbles with rubbishinternetcompany or £zillions with reallyReputableCo, which is why I then asked the question in the Q&A. Dear andrewholgate there's a load of q&a remaining unanswered, some of which at least I'd have thought you could answer by return.

The first 3 or 4 questions in the Q & A have been answered but none of the hard ones...
tho' it does say drawdown is expected in the next four weeks and if it doesn't there will be a fee charges to the borrower, thanks "z" for asking, great answer.

There seems to be an increasingly large list of unanswered questions. Most of these on the face of it should be easy to answer without revealing the identity of the owner. Personally unanswered question really turn me off a loan.
I find it strange that some loans have all questions, even difficult ones answered quickly and other loans languish for days and days with no response.
If there are some questions that cannot be answered for some reason I'd hope that AC update it to say why it cannot be provided rather than just leaving the default working to source an answer text.

You've mirrored my thoughts exactly. I would like to invest in this one but lack of answers has put me off so far. COnsidering there's another 9 days to go, we might get some before it's too late

I find it strange that some loans have all questions, even difficult ones answered quickly and other loans languish for days and days with no response. I suspect that what's happening is that the RM may have to go back to the borrower, either for some answers or for approval of answers they've written, and some borrowers respond promptly while others don't. There also are different introducers involved, and different RMs.

There also are different introducers involved, and different RMs. If the Qs get answered to everyone's satisfaction then this loan will get filled much quicker than being as static at the moment. The uptake on the Co****y one a few days ago was also going very slowly till adequate answers where provided to some pertinent questions. I hope the same happens here as I like the emotive principles behind this one.

Bids have picked up some momentum today on this one with closing time nearing, which is good. Jsut awaiting answers to number of questions still with the weekend upon us now to see if it's worth adding to current bids
