If they were testing the depth of the liquidity in the market I guess they now know. Not necessarily - if they'd been 9 unconnected borrowers there would likely have been a different result

Got 100% on all of them £200- £300 each. Need to clear small negative balance but no browns trousers here... Fortunately sold couple of parts in the last 2 days to cover.

I certainly didn't get 100%. I think I got 26% on 110, 44% on 111 and 38% on 112 assuming I remembered my pre-fund amounts correctly. (Other loans I didn't participate in or were below £1m.) Edit: For those who want to do the sums and know how much I'm pre-funding, the £ amounts I was allocated on the above loans were £2,600, £2,200 and £1,900 respectively. Maybe they were bottom-up? Can anyone else confirm? Yep, bottom up slab system. I got similar amounts to you but with different percentages, e.g one of these we got exactly the same amount even though our PF's were different by a factor of 4

Well, I am very glad that I adjusted my prefunding before that particular chunk of loans hit the market! I would not have like to try and find a spare £5k...

I got 100% on loans PBL107 and PBL108, leaving me with an 8K negative balance which I can't clear for 7 days!
I've messaged SS complaining about the 2 loans being allocated within seconds of each other, considering I've been waiting since yesterday.
Lesson learnt, don't set any pre-funding amounts and try to play the captcha game on the SM :-(

Wonder if anyone is in a genuine brown trouser situation right now... Not me, as I've never been very keen on INPL, but I suspect some may be squeaking a little. If i were at the back of queue with 120K ahead of me, I would be worried. I have about £19k in front of me on PBL60, and am at the front of the queue on PBL95.

It really would be nice if the referee could explain the rules BEFORE the match starts.

Me too .. I don't mind the allocation system working this way, but I sure wish savingstream would tell us what they are going to do, then do what they told us, and then tell us what they did. 8>. Right now it's a game of blind man's buff or pin the tail on the donkey.

I have already asked via email but if enough people ask the same question, they may be tempted to re-engage with the forum to answer common questions like this. Very frustrating to have the rules changed without warning. savingstream - your input is welcome.

Ps. (given that savingstream appears to be logged in!) I'm actually a fan of the original "slab" system of allocation that SS proposed but never implemented, if this is indeed what was used this time around. But, please, tell us what you're going to do before you do it.

I've had a reply from SS to my question. Apparently all 9 were allocated bottom-up (presumably trimmed to the nearest £100) No reason given for this change, but I did get the helpful suggestion that " Investors should only pre-fund what they actually want which should not really be affected by the method of allocating these funds."

Which can be read as 'if you b&ggers are going to game the system, we are going to game the rules'. 8>. Might upset the BHs this time round, but perhaps clear the decks for the future.
