How long does a bank transfer to SS typically take?

Tomorrow, before 10am in my experience.

In the old days they used to include this in their deposit notifications:

That's the issue with all P2P funding (except debit cards perchance) .. there is just one platform a/c into which all the money arrives with a thud, and a reference number .. someone (or thing) has to note the arrival, and then use the reference number to sort out who it was coming from / going to. MT can do it in seconds (if you fill in the form on their website telling them "it's inbound, start listening for the thud") others can take hours, or even days (no names, no packdrill). Only once I believe have I actually had to manually prod someone with the 'hey what did you do with it' pole, so it does usually work. Eventually. Debit cards are far nicer (apart from anything else it doesn't hit your bank a/c for a couple of days, usually).

ditto although this morning I did a transfer around 7.00 am and it was in the account around 9.00 am so I assume SS run some code or do some admin first thing in the morning.

Paid money in during the very early hours. It showed at 0840.
Paid in some more at 0630, not showing.

Thanks. I've learned if sending two amounts to make sure they are different.
I did get two identical emails for the first amount.
I shall phone them.
There was some very juicy stuff on the sm earlier and I went in quite heavily.

I'm annoyed that I had to reduce my prefunding and sell a few bits.
Really frustrating.
