There are some resources of information below that may help both new and experienced lenders. I should declare an interest here as I run the P2P money website! List of P2P companies operating within the UK and their major attributes where lenders do not need a CCL (consumer credit license) or are a "sophisticated investor": www.p2pmoney.co.uk/companies.htmComparison of lending and borrowing rates after deductions: www.p2pmoney.co.uk/compare/

You've got a nice resource there. I check in now and again to see what new players have emerged

Hi easteregg,
It would be really useful if your lists could show which platforms are able to accept non resident lenders, frequently T & Cs specify UK residents only and there are many expats who are restricted to dismal bank deposit rates for their sterling accounts as most savings accounts do the same.

Many thanks for your suggestion - I'll see if I can compile this information. I know ThinCats is one that accepts funds from non-doms.

Thincats will accepts non-doms. I also think Funding Knight will, once they can verify your identity. Maybe Nicky could comment...?

Link to FCA Interim Permission database (copied from Wellesley board for ease of future reference. Thanks james I was unsuccessful at a recent attempt of locating this database) If he platform has interim permission, the returned webpage will contain the basic record of the company, clicking on the permissions link will allow confirmation that the permission includes "Peer to Peer Lending"
