Seems that pre-bids are not working. On the Scottish one, certainly. Pre bids seem to be stuck at the back of the queue, with real bids coming in fast. So I pulled my pre-bids and manualled them. Edit: Technically, I don't think (part of) the system knows the auction has started, because I didn't get an email to say it had gone live, it's 10:25 now, still no sign.

It happened on Lo***n L** F**m as well, which are the only 2 new loans since AI was launched, so it looks like something has broken and pre-bids aren't to be trusted.
Edit: moved firm south to where it belongs.

My prebid has failed, has disappeared, and I can't even place an equivalent shadow bid because the shadow bid window is greyed out (no shadow bids until auction starts!). As I just put all my readies into paying for London Law yesterday, I can't place a cash bid!  edit 10:59 Ah the shadow bid facility is back on. |

There is something wrong with the system as the main investments page is still showing this at preview stage.
Oldgrumpy - I was able to place a shadow bid through AI.

It's five to eleven, and now all the prebids have been swept up.
Is this a clock that hasn't been set to the right timezone/BST change? -- It looks like the prebids should've run at 9:55, and ran at 10:55?

There is definitely something wrong somewhere, I set up an AI profile for this one yesterday fairly soon after it was listed. The profile generated a pre-bid which was close to the top of the pre-bid queue, however this did not get converted to a shadow bid until 10:26 nearly half an hour after the auction started. Given the speed that some smaller auctions have proceeded in the past unless there is a system for queuing manual bids behind pre-bids and AI pre-bids this could have meant that manual bidding could potentially have forced my pre-bids off the system despite them being close to the front of the pre-bid queue. Any comments chris? |

No longer at preview and most prebids now converted. Wonder if the AC clock hasn't been put forward.

There was a bug in the code that converts prebids into bids at the start of an auction. Fixed as soon as my team managed to get hold of me so all should have converted. If you set up AI there's a chance it would have placed a pre-bid and then a bid after the auction start as the pre-bid didn't convert. If you then had enough funds when the pre-bids were converted you could have ended up with a second unwanted bid. Please check your current bids and if the system has placed one too many for you then please let the admin team know and they'll remove the offending bids for you.
Right, back to baby (healthy 7lbs 15oz baby girl born at 1am on the 9th)!

Thanks all - found another issue that stopped some going through but that has been fixed now and I've checked that all prebids were correctly processed. As best as I can see they have been now.
Time to go get some sleep!
