If this had been another platform, then I'm sure the majority would have voted to wait. People see so many negative comments about Lendy and threads such as 'Is Lendy about to fail', that there reaction is to get out while they can. we would all like to say positive things about how lendy are doing such a great job. bringing decent loans to the platform, monitoring each and every with all the robust, rigourous,DD and all the other claims they make instead of p*ssing about onTP all day.nobody wants lendy to fail but a lot of people are at a stage now where they can only sit back and watch, as lendy,s incompetance in recoveries and repayments are the subject of nearly every thread.there is not a lot really to be positive about.not many new loans lately for us all to discuss.just go through the updates on all the loans including the defaults sorry i mean non performing/claims underway.come back to us with something positive about that lot.

Days move fast and nothing happens at Lendy Towers. I would lke to ask: a) has Lendy defaulted the loan and appointed a receiver? If not, why? b) has Lendy considered the idea of selling the freehold of the property, which is certainly worth more than the remaining capital+ due interests? c) has Lendy started marketing the property in any way? Updates day is Friday. One thing I'm learning from all platforms that I'm looking at is that they all tend to report with a periodicity / frequency that never suits some lenders and anything involving legals / administrators / receivers / insolvency practitioners is slow. Very slow. Out of curiosity, what is Lendy's policy on asking questions about a specific loan. (With respect to _ if the loan is suspended or in default, do you have to be in the loan to ask a question?) Or put, to put it another way, is there anything actually stopping you or anyone else from actually asking?

They told me DFL004 and DFL005 were going to fully repay some time ago, and I'm sure I didn't ask them any questions .. 8>.

I'm assuming no interest recovery though, although there is no update to confirm or deny! EDIT: Spoke too soon, Interest and Bonus lines have appeared. Full interest recovery at 12% plus a 2.96% bonus - a great result considering we were looking at recovery at par, well done Lendy!

In a way this does make a mockery of the vote that we were previously asked to participate if it was so easy to also recover interest and bonus in addition to capital.

My bonus says 2.5% despite holding since the loan was launched. Anybody have any idea why?

Nice one Lendy. Of course, I have immediately reinvested in a primary market loan to repay the good deed

In a way this does make a mockery of the vote that we were previously asked to participate if it was so easy to also recover interest and bonus in addition to capital. The vote may well have forced the debt purchaser/borrowers hand as it either actually voted for a sale or was so close Lendy decided to reject the offer so they have managed to find the funds to fully redeem
The loan has been redeemed by the sale of debt & Lendy has covered the interest/bonus
Speculating. I await the trumpetting email/update
However, unless the repayment has had a detrimental effect on Lendy's viability financially (ie Lendy have taken it onto their books) Im not sure I care ... Lendy has achieved a good result for lenders & Ive got some interest I didnt realise I was owed.

I’m happy to continue my 3 year lucky run of no defaults or lost interest.
Just wolves to contend with now!

Although I had no money invested in this loan, it's a good result for Lendy and a reduction in their default list. Still along way to go to gain investors confidence but the sun is shining at Lendy HQ today.

I’m all for posting positive feedback where it’s warranted. Well done, Lendy!
