Tranche 11 benefiting from some timely Friday repayments ... £3m repaid today - question is, how much of that will stay with Lendy and get re-invested ?

I have just seen evidence that the reason that people are buying from the SM rather than the latest tranche is because their IQ is 24...... Someone has just purchased a £55k chunk ....Not from the cash back tranche? ?

I really don't get it. The investor has missed out on £542 by choosing the wrong investment. And not being funny, have a look, they are still doing it?

My guess would be that the investor thinks that cashback is only payable on Primary Market purchases and doesn't understand that because this tranche isn't yet fully funded and drawndown, that cashback is payable on SM purchases in this case.
He or she is probably buying big into old loan on the basis that the sale queue is shorter and hence thinks that liquidity will be better on that.
To be fair, if you aren't a LY expert like most of us on the forum, it's an understadable mistake for someone to make - although perhaps surprising considering this individual is quite a big hitter and you would expect such a person to be an expert. Probably has more money than sense .. literally.
I note said person has invested £54k through the non cashback part but only £3k in the cashback eligible bit.

The non-CB loan is showing as 56% LTV while the CB tranche (Tranche 11) is showing as 65%. That implies that Tranche 11 ranks behind the other tranches in terms of security. I don't believe that's the case (so erroneous LTV data being presented by Lendy), but it could certainly mislead investors into thinking the non-CB tranches are more attractive.

As a quick question, I have noticed that the SM for the cash back tranche has started to increase. Do the people who have invested and then put their holding straight onto the SM qualify for the 1% cash back?
From reading the Lendy FAQ's, it only mentions the person holding the loan part and does not state that it cannot be for sale on the SM. Anyone shed some light on this?
